The following vaccines may be covered at a pharmacy in the Pharmacy Vaccine Network:

  • Flu
  • Pneumococcal
  • Zostavax (minimum age 50)
  • Rabies
  • Hepatitis B
  • T Dap
  • Tetanus

Other vaccines may be available through your primary care physician. Call customer service at the number on your member ID card for more information.

Find a Pharmacy in the Vaccine Network

To find Vaccine Network pharmacies:

  • Log in to Blue Access for MembersSM.
  • Click Prescription Drugs in the Quick Links box.
  • This takes you to, the member website of BCBSTX’s pharmacy benefit manager.
  • Select Pharmacies, search by address, city or zip code, and then filter for a Vaccine Pharmacy from the list.

You can also call customer service for help finding a participating Vaccine Network pharmacy near you.

Before You Go

Call the Vaccine Network pharmacy location you plan to go to for complete details. Before you go, find out:

  • If the location participates in the network
  • If the location has a supply of the vaccine
  • The hours that vaccines are given
  • If an appointment is needed

Remember to hand your ID card to the pharmacist when you visit a Vaccine Network pharmacy to get a vaccination. The pharmacist will submit a claim and collect any copayments, if necessary. Check your plan materials or call the customer service number on your member ID card to find out what may apply for your particular health plan.
